Hello! We are Wagz N' Walks Pet Care.

     Let me begin by telling you a little about us and what we do.  We are a husband and wife team that had an amazing idea! In Home Pet Care!  We thought why not? Why not bring day care, grooming, and the vet’s office, right to your door! 

​

     My name is Dawn and I am a former Veterinary Technician, and have worked and volunteered in the veterinary industry nearly all of my life.  As a child I grew up on a farm in Indiana and participated in our county’s 4H program, also as a teen I volunteered at our local animal shelter as well, so it was only natural that I followed this career path.

​

     My husband Jim is an Air Force Veteran, and has worked in the IT field his entire adult life.  He grew up on a small farm in Southern Indiana and, participated in his schools FFA program as well.  He has always had a passion for animals working very closely with a dachshund rescue in Indiana and fostering over 18 doxies in several years, help placing them in forever homes!

     Together, along with our two children, we volunteer for Healing Warrior Hearts and the Starfish Foundation. On Christmas Eve our family  participates in Operation Grateful Giving, where we, along with other members of the Starfish Foundation pass out over 300 gift bags to Veterans spending their Christmas in the Milwaukee VA. Operation Grateful Giving has been operational for many years with the help of The Starfish Foundation!

     Jim and I have two beautiful children Samantha, and Thomas! We also have 4 wonderful pets, Harley (dog) Peanut (dog) Amber (cat) and Luna (cat) all are rescues. We enjoy taking our family (dogs included) camping, swimming, hiking and kayaking.  We lead an active lifestyle, and I bet you do too! That’s where we can help!

     We offer a wide variety of care for your pet, from a quick visit during your vacation for your cat,  all the way to daily walks for your dog. We are also licensed and insured. We are a small company, and very family oriented. We know that in home pet care is really nothing new but, we add a personal family touch to the care we offer. Like we say, “Big or small, we love them all!” Schedule a Meet and Greet today.
